Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can remain on their feet for extended periods, and works well both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and open to constructive feedback to continually improve performance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining consistency
- Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory as needed
- Answer phone calls for takeout orders or general inquiries when required
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Requirements:
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week
- Comfortable standing for long periods (8+ hour shifts)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Willingness to receive and apply constructive criticism
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
