The Lake Louise Ski Resort and Summer Gondola is seeking a Calgary Sales Associate. This Calgary based position is responsible for providing support to the Sales Team, particularly in Calgary and the surrounding area, with a focus on the sale and distribution of Lake Louise Plus Cards, Corporate, and Group tickets and other products. Reporting to the Director of Growth, this person will work with the sales team to prospect for new consignment and group accounts and ensure that all accounts receive a high level of service and their product in a timely manner. The sales associate will also provide administrative support to the Marketing and Sales department and support the ski area in various roles during peak times. Valid driver’s license will be required to perform duties.
Responsibilities:

Support Director of Growth in day-to-day activities
-
Qualify new business prospects and build and active high potential prospect list for new retailer, corporate, and group ticket and trip accounts.

Lead Corporate and University bulk ticket programs with strong focus on growth
-
Support Summer Gondola and Shuttle Sales programs
-
Manage the Summer Commission Sales program
-
Work closely with the accounting department in the invoicing and collecting payments from corporate, retail, and group accounts
-
Packaging and preparing product orders for distribution
-
Checking stock at accounts to avoid low inventory
-
Ensure point-of-sale materials are present in retail accounts
-
Maintain accurate records of all visits, deliveries, and accurate supply count
-
Maintaining relationships with account contacts
-
Work closely with Sales team to ensure all needs of accounts are met
-
Ski show and brand activation support
-
On resort support including Familiarization and partner trip hosting, Groups Sales team support, and other duties as required during peak times.

Administrative tasks and other duties as required

Work alongside the events and sponsorships team to assist in acquiring event and resort sponsorships through leveraging existing relationships
Qualifications:
-
Previous Sales experience an asset. Postsecondary education preferred
-
Ability to smile and have fun while accomplishing all required tasks is essential.

Must be organized, responsible and flexible to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be friendly, outgoing and enjoy meeting new people

Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions and resolutions required

Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers

Ability to occasionally travel to promote the ski resort, attend sales events and brand activations

Flexibility to work occasional weekend and evenings, if required

Must have a strong passion for the Ski/Snowboard Industry, the mountains and an outdoor lifestyle

Advanced Skiing or Snowboarding ability an asset.

Must have strong and professional written and oral communication skills

Experience in Microsoft Suite is an asset (Excel, Word, Outlook)
