We are looking to bring on a Labourer with their D license to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to drive our trucks to site, spray foam insulation or cementitious spray truck, and help as a labourer with the work on site.
This position will come with the following responsibilities;
- Perform daily vehicle inspections prior to driving
- Ensure materials appropriate for the day are loaded, notify the end of day for required materials for the next day.
- Driving to and from site safely, with coworkers for that day.
- Help prepare the site for the days work, following instructions from the lead sprayer.
- Working with the lead sprayer and additional helpers to ensure a smooth workday.
- Follow all safety protocols set out by Strong Foam Insulation Inc. and the Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations.
- Assist as needed throughout the day as the lead sprayer instructs.
- Cleanup to ensure the site is in acceptable condition before leaving.
- Reporting issues and concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Using our designated app for clocking in and out, completing forms as needed, and any other requirements set out within the app.
Requirements for this position
- a valid D license for driving our straight trucks.
- the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
- the ability to lift on average 50lbs in material.
- strong communication between coworkers and project management.
- ideally have working at heights training, can be obtained upon hire.
- willingness to learn and advance within the company is a bonus!
- there is possibilities for out of town work that might require overnight stays. notification of these overnights will be given in advance.

This is an in person job, meeting at our main facility in Cambridge Ontario, traveling to various construction sites for work each day.
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
