They are currently seeking a mechanically inclined Feedlot Maintenance Technician to join their team. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with heavy equipment, and taking ownership of preventative maintenance and repairs that keep daily operations running smoothly. Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining feedlot equipment, vehicles, and facilities while contributing to the overall success of the operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Perform preventative maintenance on feedlot equipment and machinery
- Complete routine servicing, including oil changes, greasing, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and identify mechanical issues on equipment and report repair requirements
- Change and repair tires on various pieces of equipment
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers, and tractors safely and efficiently
- Assist with general repairs and maintenance of feedlot facilities and infrastructure
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation and identify potential maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
- Support welding and fabrication projects as required (asset)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and work environment
- Assist with general labour duties as needed to support the operation
Qualifications:
- Ability to work fully onsite
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights when required
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons
Experience:
- Minimum one year of experience performing mechanical maintenance, equipment servicing, agricultural equipment repair, heavy equipment maintenance, or a similar hands-on role
- Experience operating agricultural or heavy equipment is considered a strong asset
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities

Base Salary: $25+ per hour
- Compensation based on experience
- Full benefits package provided after successful completion of the 3-month probationary period
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Some weekend work required
