Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean dining area. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup and breakdown
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively during busy periods using good time management skills
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food industry standards for serving, upselling, and guest engagement
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
