Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on automotive or tire service experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, rotate, and install tires for passenger and light truck vehicles
- Perform flat tire repairs and assess tire damage for repairability
- Inspect tires and wheels for defects, wear, and warranty-related issues
- Check and adjust tire pressures according to manufacturer specifications
- Re-torque wheels as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate tires when required
Additional Duties
- Cross-train in other roles within 1010TIRES.COM to support growth and development
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members when needed
- Support general shop and operational tasks as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in tire and wheel installation (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform tire-related tasks efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
