Duties
- Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling services tailored to client preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalised recommendations.
- Assist at the front desk by scheduling appointments, managing client inquiries, and handling payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly environment that encourages repeat business.
- Upsell products and services to clients based on their individual hair care needs.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting salon products that enhance the client’s experience at home.
Skills
- Proficient in various hair styling techniques and trends.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience in front desk operations within a salon or similar environment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices related to hair care tools and equipment.
- Ability to upsell services and products confidently while maintaining a positive rapport with clients.
