Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience sewing fabric graphics used in SEG displays, tube displays, and other event or exhibit structures. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines including serger and single-needle machines to sew fabric graphics and finishing details.
- Sew silicone edge graphics (SEG) and sleeves for tube frame displays with precision and accuracy.
- Measure, trim, and assemble fabric components according to production specifications.
- Inspect completed pieces to ensure quality standards and proper alignment.
- Collaborate with the print and finishing departments to ensure timely order completion.
- Maintain sewing equipment and work area in clean, safe, and working condition.
- Follow production schedules and report any material or process issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating industrial sewing machines (serger and single-needle required).
- Proven experience sewing fabric displays, signage, or exhibit materials.
- Ability to read work orders and follow measurements accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience working in a graphics print shop or display production environment is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
