Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bagel Roller to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and rolling bagel dough to create high-quality, delicious bagels that meet our standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, food industry environment where attention to detail and food safety are paramount. Previous experience in food preparation or bakery operations is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The Bagel Roller plays a vital role in ensuring efficient production and maintaining the quality of our baked goods.
Must be available Friday and Sundays
Duties
- Roll and shape bagel dough according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with dough preparation, including mixing and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols during production processes
- Support other bakery operations as needed, including basic cake decorating or food prep tasks
- Ensure consistent quality and appearance of bagels throughout production shifts
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation, baking, or kitchen operations is preferred
- Experience in the food industry, especially in bakery or restaurant settings, is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Skills in cake decorating, food packaging, or culinary arts are advantageous but not required
- Strong customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving direct customer interaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Previous kitchen experience with a focus on baking or food industry practices is highly desirable
Pay: $17.80-$22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
