Altyp Welding and Fabricating is seeking an experienced journeyman/woman welder to add to our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of welding processes and techniques, experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, experience using a bandsaw and other cutting tools, and keeping safety and attention to detail at the forefront of every job.
Tasks will include:
- Operating MIG, TIG, and Stick welding machines
- Quality control on welds
- Working individually and as a team
- Occasional off site work
- Operating cutting equipment
- Occasional driving of deliveries - a valid driver's license is required
- Overhead Crane experience is an asset
