Job Summary: Prep Cook Restaurant position is responsible for the following but not limited to;
o Prep food for 53 North Restaurant
o Prepare breakfast sandwiches and serve coffee, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages for early morning guests
o Prep for event kitchen when required.
o Ensures SCC Health & Safety policies, WHIMIS training and standards are followed.
o Ensure the cleanliness of kitchens including washing dishes when required
This position is a great opportunity for culinary students to gain experience.

Position Specifications:
Experience: Qualifications; minimum 1 year kitchen experience or first year culinary school, Food Handlers Certificate required, Smart Serve required.
Work Environment: Works in restaurant/kitchen area, can be very hot during the summer months, very steamy, greasy atmosphere, as well as outdoor environments.
Hourly Rate: $19 - $20/hr. plus Tip share
