Relish is an employee-owned creative agency with studios in Winnipeg and Calgary. Since 1998, we’ve grown from a one-person studio into a 18-person team of strategists, designers, developers, educators, and entrepreneurs.

Who This Role Is For
We’re looking for a Senior Designer with 4-6 years of experience who is ready to lead creative thinking – not just execute it.
You are:
- Concept-driven, not template-driven
- Strategic in your thinking and precise in your craft
- Comfortable presenting to clients
- Able to mentor junior designers
- Equally strong in brand systems and applied execution
- Calm under pressure and collaborative by default

This is a hybrid role based in Winnipeg or Calgary. We value in-person collaboration – but we also respect autonomy and focus time.
What You’ll Do
- Lead concept development across brand, campaign, and digital projects
- Translate strategy into strong, cohesive visual systems
- Design across print, digital, and experiential touchpoints
- Guide and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate closely with strategists, developers, and project managers
- Present work to clients with clarity and confidence
- Ensure production excellence across all deliverables
What You Bring
Experience
- 5-6 years of professional design experience
- Degree or formal training in Graphic Design
- Proven experience leading creative direction within projects
Core Strengths
- Deep understanding of branding, positioning, and marketing systems
- Mastery of typography, hierarchy, colour, and layout
- Strong conceptual thinking across multiple platforms
- High attention to detail and production excellence
- Experience balancing creative ambition with real-world constraints
- Print production expertise (mandatory)
Assets
- UX/UI and digital product design experience
- Familiarity with CMS platforms
- Working knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
- Experience working within accessibility standards
