Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety standards, and the ability to work with various tools and schematics. The Plumber will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning of plumbing infrastructure while adhering to project specifications and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute plumbing projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete installations and repairs
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues or failures within plumbing systems
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate tasks such as carpentry or HVAC work when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of service plumbing experience (required)
- 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice
- Experience diagnosing and repairing residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Experience using drain snakes, cameras, and specialized service plumbing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials
