Arbus Outdoors is looking to add an experienced Landscaping / Hardscape Foreman to our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, can lead a crew professionally, and has strong experience operating equipment and completing landscape construction projects efficiently.
This is a hands-on leadership role working on a wide variety of residential and commercial landscape projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise crew members on-site
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and excavators (Roto Tilt experience is a major asset)
- Perform grading and site preparation
- Install sod, topsoil, and lawn areas
- Complete hardscape projects including brick work, patios, walkways, retaining walls, and armour stone
- Property cleanups and general landscape maintenance tasks
- Read site layouts and ensure projects are completed properly and efficiently
- Load/unload and safely transport equipment and materials
- Pull trailers confidently with trucks and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Communicate with customers and management professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping and hardscaping
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong equipment operating experience
- Experience pulling trailers and backing trailers confidently
- Valid G driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
- Ability to work long days in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site
Assets (Not Required but Preferred)
- AZ or DZ license
- Experience with excavation and drainage work
- Experience operating compact equipment with attachments
- Knowledge of grading elevations and laser levels
- Experience with lawn installation and property finishing
