Design Team Administrator - Full-time or part-time with immediate selection and onboarding available.
Hours:
28 - 40 hours per week (part-time or full-time, depending on the successful candidate.)

Job Summary:
The Design Team Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Design Team, helping to keep projects, documentation and day-to-day activities organised and running efficiently. This role is responsible for maintaining technical documents, production information, department data and project tracking tools, while supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of internal systems and processes. As a newly created position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop and improve workflows, contribute new ideas, and play an important role in supporting the continued growth and efficiency of the Design Team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain hard copy drawing libraries.
- Input and maintain department metrics and data.
- Maintain office supply stock.
- Print and prepare production packs.
- Maintain assembly work instruction documents.
- Build and maintain product family and configuration information.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing support of the company's ERP system.
- Edit basic part property information in SolidWorks CAD models.
- Collate and prioritise redlines for part updates.
- Maintain project dashboards displaying timelines, progress and key milestones.
- Provide general administrative support to the Design Team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative, office administration, or project support role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the initiative to establish, improve, and streamline processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, SolidWorks, technical documentation, or manufacturing environments is considered an asset but is not required. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Wage: $24 - $28
