- Assist with day-to-day BIZ operations, such as covering the reception area
and helping with other programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage and connect with people from diverse cultures and
backgrounds.
- Comfortable learning and using digital tools for documentation, reporting and
data collection.
- Knowledge of Downtown Winnipeg is considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Salesforce is an asset.
- Having a valid Class Five Drivers’ License is an asset.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Available to work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Ability to work in an active environment, both indoors and outdoors, involving
frequent walking between locations and regular movement throughout the
workday.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods of time as required by operational
needs, events, or on-site activities across the BIZ.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to
approximately 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Sufficient physical stamina and mobility to perform a combination of walking,
standing, and light to moderate manual tasks, including in varied weather
conditions.
- Regular interaction with the public, including occasional challenge interactions;
ability to maintain calm, respectful, and professional conduct.
- We currently have a limited number of permanent positions. We are hiring for
a term position ending on December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension
and the potential to transition into a permanent role
