Job description
Requirements:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure displays are attractive and organized
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Utilize organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries via phone or online communication channels
- Successfully achieving your training points within the appropriate time given. This involves online training, practical role plays and learning while working
- Adequately prepare bikes that are booked for service for our mechanics
- Take accountability of customers journey from compiling quotes, following up and converting to sales and after sales care.
- Reach individual and stores monthly and annual sales targets
- Update your training on new model bikes, clothing, components and technology
- Actively participate in daily meetings and end of day debriefs
- Diagnosing bicycles following our assessment checklist
- Booking bicycles in for service
- Assembling new bicycles to be put on the floor, when the sales floor is quiet
- Approach challenges with an optimistic, solution-drive attitude
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
