Snacki N Smoke Cranbrook is a new convenience and smoke shop offering a wide selection of snacks, beverages, smoking accessories, and customer-focused service. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated team member to help us create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately
- Verify identification and ensure compliance with age-restricted product regulations
- Restock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Receive and organize inventory deliveries
- Assist customers in finding products and answering questions
- Open and/or close the store following company procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items
- Help create attractive product displays and promotions
Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in convenience store, vape shop, smoke shop, or retail environments
- Knowledge of smoking accessories, snacks, and beverage products
- Experience with inventory management and merchandising
