Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all kitchenware and utensils, ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the restaurant or hotel environment. Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently and thoroughly
- Ensure all items are returned to their proper storage areas in a clean and organised manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Manage waste disposal responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to
- Support other kitchen staff with general cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking processes, or culinary environments is desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment demonstrates organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety standards within a kitchen setting is beneficial but not mandatory
