Position Summary
Industrial Fluid Consultants Inc. is seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide technical and application support across the organization. The successful candidate will support business applications and systems used throughout operations, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain system functionality, support application improvements, and work with employees across multiple departments to help ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Communicate electronically, by telephone, and in person with computer users experiencing technical difficulties to determine, document, and resolve issues.
· Maintain user accounts and provide on-site first-level technical support to ensure minimal system and operational downtime.
· Reproduce, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application, software, and system problems encountered by users.
· Assist with redevelopment and design of company website content, improving functionality and user experience, coordinating ongoing maintenance, and supporting future enhancements.
· Provide advice, guidance, and training to users regarding business applications and system functionality.
· Install, configure, maintain, and support business applications used by the company's logistics and operations teams.
· Monitor application performance and investigate system issues affecting warehouse, inventory, transportation, and logistics operations.
· Participate in application testing, implementation, software upgrades, and the redesign or enhancement of business applications to improve operational efficiency.
· Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes before deployment.
· Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, purchasing, customer service, and operations personnel to ensure business applications effectively support organizational requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in information technology, computer systems, computer science, or a related field.
· Previous experience providing application, software, or technical support.
· Experience troubleshooting software and computer system issues.
· Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting business applications.
· Ability to manage user accounts and provide technical assistance to users.
· Strong computer and technical problem-solving skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees across multiple departments.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Experience supporting ERP or business management software is considered an asset.
· recent experience (within 2 yrs) Sage 300 is considered a strong asset.
· Go canvas experience an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,520.00-$70,000.00 per year
