Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and a solid understanding of construction principles. This role involves working on various roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.
Duties
- Install roofing materials such as metal shingles and metal sheets according to specifications.
- Perform repairs on existing roofs, including patching leaks and replacing damaged materials.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights or in hazardous conditions.
- Assist in heavy lifting of materials as needed during installation or repair processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role is preferred.
- Strong maintenance person skills with the ability to perform carpentry tasks when required.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills safely.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work long hours on various job sites.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
