Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Production Planner opportunity with a well-established consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment in Burlington, ON. This direct hire role is ideal for a detail-oriented planning professional who enjoys balancing production schedules, capacity planning, inventory control, and cross-functional communication in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
As the Production Planner, you will play a key role in maintaining the master production plan, supporting sales and operations requirements, and ensuring the plant has clear, accurate schedules to meet customer demand. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the master production plan to support sales, operations, inventory, and customer demand requirements.
- Plan, prioritize, and adjust production schedules to maximize efficiency, capacity utilization, and on-time output.
- Monitor daily production performance and revise schedules as needed to address changing priorities or constraints.
- Issue production schedules to the plant and communicate changes clearly to relevant teams.
- Support inventory control activities to ensure materials and finished goods align with production plans.
- Track and report planning-related KPIs to support continuous improvement and operational visibility.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
