DTech Services and Solutions Inc. is a growing HVAC company serving Ottawa and surrounding communities. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, experience servicing a wide range of HVAC equipment, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while representing our company in the field.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC equipment
- Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, and pool heaters
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, combustion, and gas-related issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Complete service reports, job notes, and photos using company CRM software
- Follow all TSSA, ESA, manufacturer, and company safety requirements
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Participate in occasional emergency and after-hours service calls as required
Qualifications
- Valid G2 Gas Technician License (required)
- Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record
- 313D or 313A Refrigeration License (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience servicing furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, and pool heaters
- Commercial HVAC service experience is considered an asset
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Ability to work as either an employee or independent subcontractor
- Incorporated HVAC technicians are encouraged to apply

Compensation
- $35.00–$45.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Subcontractor rates negotiable based on experience, licensing, and scope of work
Schedule
- Monday to Friday;
- Occasional weekend work as required
- On-call rotation as required
