As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of our major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking an Operational Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals in Toronto, ON.

Working with other highly motivated Engineers, you will be involved with designing, programming, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting new and existing automated controls systems.

Responsibilities may include:
Onsite presence at Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), Monday–Friday during regular business hours (Excluding weekends and stats)
Software development / support
Support resolution of operational issues through technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
Provide operational insight and guidance based on industry and system expertise
Apply data-driven approaches to improve decision-making and execution
Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, developers, and engineers)
Maintain strong customer communication and manage expectations
Support incident response and escalation from Operations
Assist project teams with daily operational needs
Qualifications Required:
Customer-focused mindset
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong organizational skills, with a n adap table and action-oriented approach
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Assets:
Programming skills in Ladder Logic or languages such as C, C#, VBA, SQL, or others
Familiarity with PLCs ( e.g. ControlLogix, Modicon , Siemens S7 , Omron )
Familiarity with SCADA s ( e.g. Ignition, FactoryTalk View )
Experience implementing real-time solutions
Familiarity with IT/Networking and database application
Experience with BHS system operations
Ability to read electrical schematics
