Line Cook – Piano Piano Oakville
PIANO PIANO Oakville is looking for passionate, motivated, and team-oriented Line Cooks to join our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute all Piano Piano menu items according to company recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations.
- Work across multiple kitchen stations, mainly Garde Manger (salads and appetizers), while learning all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Prepare and plate a variety of menu items including:
- Fresh salads and cold appetizers
- Hot appetizers
- Family-style platters and large group orders
- Ensure all food is prepared consistently, accurately, and within service timing standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation throughout the shift while following food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Complete daily prep lists and stock stations before lunch and dinner service.
- Properly rotate, label, and store food products following FIFO procedures.
- Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, inventory organization, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Adapt to changing service demands while maintaining a positive attitude and strong sense of urgency.
- Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative, respectful kitchen culture.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant kitchen experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn all stations through cross-training.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
