The Product Specialist supports the sales team, customers, and internal stakeholders by providing technical expertise, product guidance, and training across the brand’s portfolio.
This role focuses on day-to-day execution, including answering technical questions, supporting system design recommendations, assisting with demos, training, events and ensuring accurate product knowledge across the organization.
Working closely with the Brand Manager, this position helps drive product adoption and customer success while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and technical accuracy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships and consistent communication with both internal sales teams and external customers.
- Serve as a technical resource for internal staff, supporting day-to-day product questions, system design discussions, and solution guidance.
- Work closely with the Brand Manager to support ongoing initiatives, customer engagement, and overall product strategy execution.
- Provide regular feedback to the Brand Manager on customer needs, internal challenges, common support trends, and emerging market opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products, technologies, and product lifecycles, including new releases, updates, and discontinuations.
- Support the identification of development opportunities through both customer interaction and internal team feedback.
- Assist the Brand Manager in preparing reports, system designs, specifications, and supporting technical documentation.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and the Brand Manager to support sales efforts and increase product awareness across both external markets and internal teams.
- Support internal education by helping train and enable the sales team on brand products, workflows, and best practices.
- Provide technical assistance, training, and support related to product configuration, troubleshooting, firmware updates, and best practices.
- Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency, visibility, and communication across teams.
- Organize, support, and participate in virtual and in-person events, including webinars, trainings, internal sessions, and customer meetings.
- Support tradeshow and event execution, including demo preparation, on-site support, and customer engagement.
- Provide guidance and training, as needed, for assigned products to both internal teams and customers.
- Participate in on-site support at dealer locations, customer facilities, and tradeshows, including demos, training sessions, and direct customer interaction.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (Audio, Video, Lighting) or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- 2-5+ years of experience in live events, AVL systems, broadcast, or related technical environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals in AV environments (IP addressing, VLANs, multicast, etc.).
- Possesses excellent presentation and teaching skills.
- Forward-thinking, vision-oriented, energetic and passionate about the business and its brands.
- Able to work, build, cultivate and communicate well with a wide range of people both within and outside the organization.
- An excellent listener and communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Organized, methodical and analytical.
- Computer proficiency: CRM, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.).
- Valid Passport – able to travel freely throughout the region and internationally.
- Ability to stoop, kneel or climb and on occasion lift up to 50lbs/23kg.

This new growth position offers competitive compensation of $85,000.00/annually based on experience, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative work environment.
