Job Summary
Norman Wells Housing Authority is seeking an experienced and dependable Housing Foreman to oversee maintenance operations for public housing units in the community. The successful candidate will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs and inspections, and help ensure housing units are maintained safely and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and support maintenance staff
- Coordinate repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Oversee building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ensure workplace safety procedures are followed
- Respond to tenant maintenance concerns professionally
- Maintain schedules, reports, and maintenance records
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related trade
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of heating, plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in Northern conditions
