Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects by performing a variety of manual tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies
- Perform general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing materials or assembling components
- Operate simple hand tools and equipment as needed
- Help with site setup and breakdown for daily operations or special projects
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Perform other manual tasks as directed by supervisors to ensure project progress
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar manual labor roles is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is a plus but training will be provided
