Job Summary
Mission Property Services, a Fredericton based commercial real estate business is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee a wide range of administrative, accounting and reporting functions. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining efficient administrative processes, and supporting overall business operations.
Duties
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and post journal entries.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and process payroll, government remittances, and related filings.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Reconciliation and maintenance of inter-company accounts.
- Monitor and manage cash flow requirements.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, year-end filings, and annual budgets.
- Preparation of annual cost recovery calculations and billing to tenants.
- General office responsibilities and special projects as needed
Candidates interested in this position should have completed a Community College or university program and have 3 -5 years of relevant experience. The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is essential. Experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Familiarity with Yardi Breeze Property Management Software would be an asset..
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
