Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist

As we continue to expand across Alberta and British Columbia, we're looking for an experienced Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead our marketing strategy, strengthen our brand, and elevate how Mint is experienced by patients, pharmacy teams, healthcare partners, and the communities we serve.
Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership Team, this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping the organization's marketing and communications strategy during an exciting period of growth. You'll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving initiatives that support business growth, employee engagement, customer experience, and brand reputation.
What You'll Do
- Develop and lead Mint's marketing, communications, and brand strategy.
- Partner with executive leaders to support organizational priorities and growth initiatives.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, web, social, email, community, and traditional channels.
- Oversee corporate communications, internal communications, and executive messaging.
- Build and protect a consistent, recognizable brand across all locations and customer touchpoints.
- Measure marketing performance, identify opportunities, and use insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Manage external agencies, creative partners, and marketing budgets.
- Support acquisitions, new pharmacy openings, community partnerships, recruitment marketing, and organizational change initiatives.
- Build the marketing function as Mint continues to grow.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of progressive marketing and communications experience, including strategic leadership.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing and executing organization-wide marketing strategies.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
- Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing, analytics, and brand management.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and multiple complex projects.
- Healthcare, pharmacy, retail, or multi-location experience is considered an asset.
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Healthcare, pharmacy, retail, hospitality, franchise, or other multi-location organizations.
- Marketing across Alberta and British Columbia.
- Healthcare or regulated industry communications.
- Business acquisitions, location rebranding, community partnerships, sponsorships, or event marketing.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- AI and automation tools that improve marketing workflows, reporting, or content development.
