Night Shift Supervisor– Plastic Manufacturing

As our Night Shift Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring our production team operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you'll lead and support a dedicated team while overseeing nightly production, mentoring employees, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that keep our operations running at their best.

Lead, motivate, and support the night shift production team to achieve daily production goals while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.

Coordinate shift activities to ensure production schedules, customer commitments, and quality standards are met.

Foster a culture of safety by promoting compliance with Company policies, safe work practices, and applicable legislation.

Coach, train, and develop employees to build skills, improve performance, and encourage continuous learning.

Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

Ensure equipment is operating effectively and collaborate with maintenance to address issues and minimize downtime.

Verify that production documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time.

Recommend process, equipment, and workflow improvements that enhance operational performance.

Partner with the National Operations Manager and other departments to support continuous improvement and operational success.

Five (5) or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Previous experience supervising production teams and achieving operational objectives.

Experience in HDPE manufacturing is considered a strong asset.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate others.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.

A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a focus on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining high-quality standards.

Ability to effectively coach, mentor, and develop employees.
