We are looking for a reliable and experienced 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our team. The role involves local deliveries and pick ups, ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Operates a 5-ton truck for deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Follow delivery schedules and routes
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery records (POD)
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
Requirements:
- Valid driver's licenses (Class 5 with an Air-Brake Endorsement minimum; Class 3 is an asset)
- Previous experience driving a 5-ton truck preferred
- Strong knowledge of Local Areas' roadways is a definite asset
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility with work shifts and ability to work overtime and occasional weekend
- Basic to intermediate English communication skills
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Korean speaking is asset
