About Us
Belleterre Community Partners is a nonprofit housing organization operating in Miramichi, New Brunswick. We manage subsidized housing, student housing, and multi-unit residential properties within the community.
Our work focuses on improving day-to-day operations, organization, and recordkeeping across our properties, including maintenance, inspections, and utility tracking.
Position Summary
We are seeking a post-secondary student to support administrative and data management tasks within our housing operations.
This role provides hands-on experience working with real operational data and systems. The successful candidate will help organize records, maintain accurate data, and support basic tracking and reporting related to property operations, including utilities and resource use.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize digital records related to leases, maintenance, and inspections
- Perform accurate and consistent data entry across internal systems
- Assist with tracking utility and resource use (electricity, water, heating)
- Support basic reporting and data summaries
- Identify missing or inconsistent information and flag for correction
- Assist with organizing files, spreadsheets, and internal records
- Support general administrative tasks related to property operations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program in Business, Administration, Data, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Ability to manage and structure information clearly
- Reliable and able to follow processes accurately
- Interest in administrative work and data organization
Eligibility (EcoCanada Student Criteria)
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee protection status
- Be seeking work experience related to their field of study
Housing
Student housing accommodations are available for candidates who need to relocate to Miramichi for the duration of the internship.
