Opportunity available on a on a a cow calf operation NW of Olds for a candidate with experience with cattle and equipment.
A variety of responsibilities from hauling bales, field work, haying, livestock handling, calving, processing, herd health, feeding, general maintenance, fencing,to various duties in the daily routines of a farming - ranching operation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a farming or ranching environment
- Knowledge of herd health and livestock handling along with calving experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with farm machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Ability to operate farm machinery
- Working in a team environment along with being able to work independently are key attributes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Casual, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Farm machinery: 3 years (required)
- Fencing: 3 years (required)
- Cattle: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
