Salary Range: $16.75- $18.00(commensurate with experience)

Job Description
The Counter Attendant at Sweet & Salty is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service in a high-volume, guest-facing kiosk environment. This role focuses on serving soft serve ice cream and menu items with consistency, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a positive, welcoming guest experience.
Counter Attendants are the front line of the brand — setting the tone with energy, efficiency, and attention to detail during busy service periods.
Resp.
- Greet guests in a friendly and engaging manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Prepare and serve menu items (soft serve, cones, cups, toppings, specialty items) to standard
- Maintain speed of service during peak periods while ensuring quality and accuracy
- Handle guest questions and basic concerns professionally, escalating when needed
- Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Sweet & Salty brand
About You
- 1–3+ years experience in hospitality, food service, café, or quick-service operations.
- Experience in ice cream, dessert, kiosk, or high-volume venues is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
- Indoor seasonal kiosk environment.
- Extended periods standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working during varying weather conditions.
- Company uniforms must be worn during work hours.
