Licensed Event Security Guards – Ottawa & Eastern Ontario

Silverline Patrol & Security Corp. is expanding and is currently hiring Licensed Security Guards based in Ottawa and the surrounding area to join our growing Eastern Ontario Event Team.

Upcoming Events
Our immediate hiring needs are for the following events:
- Williamstown Fair – August 6–9
- South Mountain Fair – August 13–16
- Monster Trucks All Out Tour – Carp – August 22
- Riceville Fair – August 29
Successful applicants will also have opportunities to work additional fairs, festivals, concerts, agricultural exhibitions, and special events throughout Eastern Ontario as Silverline continues to grow.
Wage
$21.00–$25.00 per hour
Starting wage is based on experience, qualifications, and assigned responsibilities, with opportunities for advancement into Lead Guard and Supervisor positions.
Responsibilities
- Access control and gate security
- Crowd management
- Parking and traffic control
- Mobile and foot patrols
- Customer service and assisting event patrons
- Responding to incidents and emergencies
- Working alongside event organizers, emergency services, and fellow security personnel
- Completing incident reports and daily activity reports when required
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification
- Must be available to work one or more of the following event dates: August 6–9, August 13–16, August 22, and/or August 29
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to event locations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, preference may be given to applicants with:
- Previous event security experience
- Parking and traffic control experience
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Bilingual (English/French)
