B&J Global Inc. is a growing logistics and warehousing company providing warehousing, distribution, freight forwarding, cross-border transportation, Amazon FBA delivery, and 3PL logistics services to business clients.
We are currently looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Operations Manager / Logistics Coordinator Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for managing daily logistics coordination, overseeing shipment and warehouse-related operations, supporting the logistics team, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, warehouses, carriers, drivers, and internal departments.
The ideal candidate should have strong logistics experience, good leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate professionally in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics coordination and operational workflow
- Manage and support logistics coordinators in handling customer orders, shipment tracking, delivery arrangements, and warehouse coordination
- Communicate with clients, warehouses, trucking companies, carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal teams
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates are provided to customers
- Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding receiving, storage, order fulfillment, pickup, delivery, and inventory-related issues
- Assist with freight forwarding, trucking, cross-border shipments, and 3PL logistics operations
- Review and follow up on shipping documents, customer requirements, quotations, and operational issues
- Resolve shipment delays, customer concerns, warehouse issues, and other operational problems in a timely manner
- Improve team workflow, communication efficiency, and service quality
- Train, guide, and support team members as needed
- Prepare reports and provide updates to management
- Ensure company procedures and customer requirements are followed
Requirements
- Mandarin Chinese and English communication skills are required
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, trucking, 3PL, supply chain, or related industries is required
- Previous team lead, supervisor, or management experience is preferred
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and handle urgent matters in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Good customer service skills and professional communication style
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, email communication, and basic computer systems
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing or supporting logistics coordinators, warehouse operations, or transportation teams
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs clearance, trucking, cross-border transportation, Amazon FBA, or 3PL warehousing
- Experience working with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, or overseas agents
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is an asset
