Hammond Paper Company, a leading Canadian paperboard distribution and converting company based in Vaughan, Ontario, is looking for one dynamic individual to work with the company as a guillotine and sheeter operator. The job is a full time job with benefits.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working as a guillotine operator or sheeter operator, or have paperboard manufacturing or converting plant experience, and the ability to communicate well in English.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out production and machine operation duties on guillotines and sheeters
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by the plant manager
- Maintain a safe and clean work space
- Follow established safety rules and regulations
Skills & Requirements
- Guillotine and sheeter operation experience is preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to understand instructions clearly in English and fill out paperwork effectively
- Quick learner, ability to think on your feet and take initiative
