About LJ Welding Automation
At LJ Welding Automation, we don’t just build equipment; we lead the global market in welding automation technology. Our success is built on precision, and that precision starts the moment a delivery hits our dock.
We are looking for a sharp, proactive Receiver to take ownership of our incoming materials, ensure our inventory is spot-on, and keep our production teams fueled with exactly what they need.
The Role
Are you the kind of person who notices the smallest discrepancy on a packing slip? Do you take pride in a warehouse that runs like a well-oiled machine? As our Receiver, you are the first line of defense for quality and accuracy. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that every part, raw material, and sub-assembly is received, inspected, and staged correctly.
Your Day-to-Day
- Receive and sign for deliveries, performing visual inspections to ensure everything arriving is damage-free and matches the order.
- Match packing slips to orders with high accuracy, ensuring all paperwork is submitted properly to maintain inventory integrity.
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to unload delivery trucks and move heavy or oversized industrial loads.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe receiving bay and outdoor Quonset area. If it’s in the racking or the yard, it should be safe and clearly labeled.
- Pick, organize, and stage items for upcoming projects, and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when items don't meet our standards.
- Assist other departments with loading and offloading, working as a key player in our lean and efficient team.
- Enter items into Epicor with a high degree of accuracy.
What You Bring to the Table
- Previous experience in receiving within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and forklift certification (overhead crane experience is a huge plus!).
- Proficiency with ERP or materials tracking systems and a knack for data accuracy.
- A commitment to following all safety procedures, especially regarding heavy lifting and securement of industrial loads.
- You’re self-motivated, punctual, and possess exceptional attention to detail. You thrive under pressure and can prioritize effectively when things get busy.
Why LJ Welding Automation?
We offer a professional, supportive, and collaborative environment where your contributions are recognized. We’re big enough to be a global leader but lean enough that your work makes a visible impact every single day.
- Work in a dynamic shop where we value learning and new challenges.
- Join a team that refuses to cut corners on the things that matter most.
Think you’re the right fit for the bay? Apply today and help us maintain the high standards that LJ Welding is known for!
