The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing two concurrent construction projects located in Moncton and Bathurst. This role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while coordinating project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, consultants, and client communications across both sites. The successful candidate will ensure each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards, while providing strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and regular oversight throughout all phases of construction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to determine project specifications.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
- Acquire equipment and materials, monitor stocks, and handle inadequacies.
- Hire contractors and allocate responsibilities.
- Supervise laborers and provide guidance when needed.
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Requirements and Skills:
- Background in Architecture
- Proven experience as a construction project manager.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
