Position Summary
A growing winery is seeking a reliable and hands-on team member to support day-to-day operations across warehouse activities, property maintenance, and seasonal winery cleaning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining an organized and clean environment, and is interested in growing into a leadership role over time.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of the winery property, supporting warehouse logistics, and assisting with winery sanitation during harvest and production periods.
There is strong potential for advancement into a Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager position for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of winery grounds and surrounding areas
- Grass cutting and general landscaping maintenance
- Snow removal and salting during winter months
- Garbage disposal and recycling management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor work areas, storage areas, and common spaces
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns
Warehouse Operations
- Prepare wine cases, packaging materials, and shipping supplies
- Apply labels and prepare finished goods for sale and distribution
- Build and wrap pallets for shipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving of goods and materials
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktakes
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Assist with movement of wine, dry goods, and production materials throughout the facility
- Follow inventory and warehouse procedures as directed
Winery Cleaning & Harvest Support
- Clean fruit receiving equipment and processing machinery during harvest
- Assist with daily sanitation of winery equipment and work areas
- Support cellar and production teams with general cleaning duties
- Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures
- Assist with additional harvest-related duties as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, winery, manufacturing, farming, or general labor environments is considered an asset
- Forklift experience is an advantage (training may be provided)
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the winery
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors throughout all seasons
- Ability to work flexible hours during harvest and peak production periods

Pay: $17.60-$24.00 per hour
