Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Assist with food preparation and food handling to ensure high-quality offerings.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
