Aquaworx Pool and Spa is currently seeking a full-time General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced pool and spa technicians to assist with pool openings, maintenance, and other various tasks of work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is interested in learning more about the pool and spa industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with pool closings (September thru Novemeber)
- Help with various tasks related to pool and spa maintenance, such as vacuuming, skimming, and testing water chemistry
- Assist with the installation and repair of pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters
- Perform various general labour tasks as needed, such as loading and unloading materials and tools, and keeping the work area clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Keep accurate records of all service and maintenance work
- Good punctuality and teamwork skills are a must
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in general labour or related field preferred, but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and materials
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior management and technicians
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week, some Saturdays may be required
