Part-Time Line Cook – Stampede Season
Whiskey Rose Saloon is hiring experienced Line Cooks to join our kitchen team ahead of the 2026 Stampede season.
We are hiring right away, with most positions beginning in mid-June. This role will start as part-time, with the opportunity for training and preparation leading into Stampede. During Stampede, hours will increase significantly, with full-time availability strongly preferred. There is also the possibility of continued employment after Stampede for the right candidates.
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking kitchen staff who can keep up in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and bring a strong team attitude to every shift.
Position Details
Job Type: Part-time, seasonal with possibility of continued employment
Pay: $15–$25 per hour, based on experience
Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Schedule: Evenings, weekends, morning prep shifts, brunch events, and increased full-time-style hours during Stampede
Start Date: Immediate openings available; most hires will begin mid-June
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Whiskey Rose standards
- Work the line during busy service periods
- Assist with prep for regular service, brunch events, and Stampede volume
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Help with dishes, cleaning, and general kitchen upkeep as needed
- Receive and organize orders when required
- Support the kitchen team during high-volume events and peak service times
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience required
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Strong availability during Stampede is required
- Ability to work morning prep shifts and brunch events when needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to stand for long periods and work efficiently under pressure
- Food safety certification is an asset
