Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our contracting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of siding materials on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut siding materials accurately using hand tools, power tools, and saws.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying caulking or weatherproofing as needed.
- Install siding materials such as vinyl, wood, fiber cement, or metal on exterior walls according to specifications.
- Coordinate with other trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical, or plumbing teams to ensure seamless project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed to meet client expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in siding installation or related construction trades preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in siding installation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, framing, carpentry, caulking, restoration, cabinet installation, painting, concrete finishing, plumbing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation between job sites.
