Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PPF (Paint Protection Film) Installer to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience with dealership settings, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with hand and power tools. This role involves installing protective films on vehicles to enhance their appearance and protect the paintwork, ensuring high-quality results that meet customer expectations. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and masking areas prior to installation
- Measure and cut paint protection film accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Carefully install film onto vehicle surfaces, ensuring a smooth, bubble-free finish
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and adjust techniques accordingly
- Handle heavy lifting of vehicle parts or large film rolls safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation, including proper use of tools and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations within scheduled timeframes
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in working with hand tools and power tools
- Experience with automotive film installation or similar applications is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including handling large rolls of film or vehicle parts
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise application of protective films
- Mechanic experience or background in automotive customization is a plus
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $16.00-$20.85 per hour
