Job Overview - NOT A FULL TIME POSITION, CASUAL JOB CONTRACTING POSITION
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Airbnb Style (different locations throughout Toronto) Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment that ensures guest satisfaction and upholds the high standards of our establishment. Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to a clean and comfortable environment.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
- Follow safety procedures related to handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special sanitation tasks as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is highly desirable, especially hotel or industrial cleaning experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled timeframes
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
