We are looking for Custodian to join our growing team in our Rosedale location.

Position Summary
This role is a full time day with flexibility for start and end times. The Custodian is to ensure that the production common areas, washrooms and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. This role will require candidate to work outside for cleaning of yard & production areas.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean glass, dust surfaces, around light switches
- Spot clean carpets, walls and baseboards as needed
- Sweep and mop hard floor surfaces
- Empty all trash and recycling bins as required
- Washrooms – stock all supplies, wipe all areas, clean mirrors and frames, disinfect toilets, polish all bright work, remove any marks from walls, wet mop and rinse floors with germicidal disinfectant, walls and partitions cleaned, descale toilets, kick plates and push plates cleaned
- Breakrooms - disinfect counters, chairs and tabletops, clean microwave inside an walls and partitions cleaned, descale toilets, kick plates and push plates cleaned outside, replenish coffee supplies as needed
- Sweep floors, wipe fridges and remove spoiled food as required
- Disinfect all doorknobs, handles, light switches, table tops and chairs in common areas, paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, fridge and microwave handles, anything that could be touched that you deem necessary to disinfect.
- Wipe/disinfect time stations
- First aid room - check & clean
- Other
- Assist in seasonal deep cleans - ie strip/wax floors, windows, etc
- Liaison with Supervisor for replacement of supplies
- Assist with shop cleanup and organization
- Clean yards, common areas and equipment’s
- Perform Pressure washing as required
- Make signs/labels for bins, bin locations and parking areas
- Paint lines in the yard using stencils
- Lift, stack/ move components, pallet bins, Practice safe work procedures at all times
- Assist with moving furniture, boxes etc as required
- Other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
