Store Manager
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Store Manager to lead our team and drive the overall success of our store. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a proven ability to achieve sales goals while creating an exceptional customer experience.
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales performance, team development, client experience, visual merchandising, and daily operations. You will lead by example, inspire your team to achieve results, and foster a positive, motivating work environment where employees can thrive.
ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Business Performance
- Lead the store to consistently achieve and exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze sales results and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer retention
- Lead the sales floor by example, demonstrating exceptional selling skills, styling expertise, and customer service
- Coach and develop the team on effective sales techniques, including:
- Clienteling and relationship building
- Upselling and cross-selling
- Styling and outfit building
- Closing sales confidently and professionally
- Monitor sales performance throughout the day and adjust priorities to ensure goals are met
- Foster a culture of accountability, achievement, and continuous improvement
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Lead, motivate, and inspire employees to achieve individual and store goals
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Schedule staff effectively to maximize productivity and customer service while managing payroll budgets
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated
- Address employee concerns professionally and maintain high standards of professionalism, teamwork, and accountability
Customer Experience
- Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and a memorable shopping experience
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage a culture of personalized service
- Lead by example in styling customers and demonstrating product knowledge
- Oversee clienteling initiatives, including customer outreach, thank-you cards, and maintaining client books
- Ensure the store environment is welcoming, organized, and aligned with the brand image
Store Operations
- Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and organization
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and loss prevention initiatives
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed
- Monitor store expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Partner with senior leadership to execute company initiatives and achieve business objectives
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, preferably in fashion or specialty retail
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales budgets and driving business growth
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent understanding of retail sales techniques, clienteling, upselling, and styling
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Passion for fashion with a strong sense of personal style
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
