Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by properly washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role is essential in supporting smooth restaurant operations and ensuring food safety standards are met. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Ensure all items are sanitized and stored properly after cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
- Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly to facilitate efficient food service
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards in the kitchen environment
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning, food handling, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in food service, cooking, or serving roles is advantageous but not required
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
